Poetry challenge - day 1
https://youtu.be/8oSoMARII5s On day one of my poetry challenge, the subject matter is words. The poem is highlighting the significance of words in our society. Most don't realize words are the reason we go to war, why we fight, why some become addicted to different substances, how we heal, and for some why they kill. We need to understand the words can be our weapon or a shield against this world. Then we should use words to build each other up. In order to protect each other or they can tear people down and victimize each other. Sometimes they used a method of hate to segregate us from each other. But I also think that in our politically correct society. We have to watch out because they're also trying to use our words against us, to where you know people are losing their jobs being threatened, being victimized because of the words they choose to use, or statements people are making. It's important to understand that your words have consequences both negative consequences...
